Oldie, but a Goodie

Since I have a few projects to finish and exams to study for this weekend I don't really have time to take photos. So here is an outfit I wore from way back in the summer when I was in London. These photos were taken while me and my friends were shopping in Brick Lane market. I remember putting together this outfit. I started off wearing shorts and a t-shirt that day with a few accessories.

But as the day progressed and got colder I ended up buying a few things in Brick Lane to keep me warm. I was way to lazy to carry everything in a bag so I just wore everything I bought. The outfit constantly kept changing through the day when I bought new things. It was tons of fun :). I even got my photo taken by a street style photographer.

Aside from the clothes I also purchased......

And some Ivory Jar Jewellery (Delta Headpiece and Christ Body Chain)

Aww man I miss it so much. I can't wait to go back in a few months! I hope you all have been well! Wish me luck on my exams! :)

Gold and Black Necklace; Forever 21
Jeffrey Campbell HOMG Skeleton Platforms; Urban Outfitters
Everything else; Thrift or vintage

HEY GUYS! HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR!! Yay 2013! So this is officially the first post of the year. OOOO I'm so excited. Where have I been may you ask? Well I can sum that up in three points.....

1) I've been enjoying this cold weather in my bad ass pimp coat.
Fuck the police!

2) I've been exerting all my energy towards school work, leading to total exhaustion....

3) And I have been working on my art. Below is a process photo from one of my most recent pieces.

Things have been pretty great! This semester is almost over, meaning I'm halfway through grade 12. My god! That went fast.

I got some pretty cool things over the Christmas Break :D. Look forward to a Christmas haul post next week sometime. Hope you all have been well! Peace!

LONG LIVE THE 90s!

Photos by Sahil Babbar
Everything Thrifted/ Second Hand

Hey people of the interwebs! Calur Villade is back and running now that I am done with all of my university applications. Boy was that a lot of work. These are some photos taken a few weeks back. So of course, my hair is a completely different colour currently than it is in these photos.

I bought a disposable camera in the summer and I finally developed the photos. Ill share more and more of the album as the weeks pass. Here are the first two photos.

Christ's Body Chain; Ivory Jar
Everything else is thrift or second hand

Oh god, don't you love film cameras? They just make everything look a whole lot better. Too bad film/ film cameras are so fucking expensive now. I spent 15 bucks on this camera, and it was disposable, so I didn't even get to keep it after. I miss the days when I was little, and everyone used film cameras instead of digital. Especially Polaroid's! I am not going to spend over 100-200 dollars to buy a Polaroid type camera and then spend even more money to buy the film. Maybe I am just cheap. But that shit cost way less before. LONG LIVE THE 90S!  Can some company please start mass producing those cameras again so I can afford to take cool pictures? That would be amazing.

Anyway, hope you're all are well! If you miss anything from the 90s too or even your childhood, comment down below. I would love to know! :D

HEY FOLKS! Just popping in to say hi. Sorry I have not been posting lately. I have been preparing my portfolio for university, ouuff it is a lot of work. But I'm super excited/ nervous/ holy crap I cant believe this is happening regarding my university applications and interviews. Its so odd.....a few years ago I had braces and was learning how to solve algebraic equations and now in less than a few months I will be moving out......

It's crazy to think about. Anyway, apart from me becoming a mature adult I've been messing around with my hair. Its been so many kinds of blue I lost count. I think at first my hair was Lagoon Blue (Directions) and then once that faded I used Shocking Blue (Manic Panic). This is when it was it's darkest.......
I mean I'm kind of into darker pigmented hair lately. Reasons being:
1. It's halloween time so the darker the better
2. I want to grow my roots out a little bit, and darker shades will hide those nasty roots.
3. Its SOO much easier to maintain. It's faded a little bit but it's still dark blue. I'm thinking the colour will last another two weeks before I re-dye.The next colour I'm going for is either purple or pink. Unsure of now, it all depends what the drug store has when I go.

For those who were wondering where the look in the teaser for my fashion collection went, here it is:
When me and my friend Haley shot the collection  we didn't have the time to photograph this look. It was the look I wore in the fashion show, and it consisted of a very sheer spider print/leather shirt and even sheer-er plastic skirt. Enjoy.

Well that was a lot of catching up. Hopefully if things dont get too busy I can post again this week. I need to start thinking of a good Halloween costume. Any ideas? I was thinking either Frida Kahlo or Wednesday Adams. Let me know!
